Gaining New Members & Driving Website Traffic Up In A Challenging Year


Alltru Credit Union, formerly known as 1st Financial Federal Credit Union, has been serving the St. Louis region since 1968 with the tagline, “The Better Way to Bank.” They came to Claritas in early 2020 with a goal of identifying current and potential members in the market for auto loans, delivering campaigns to them through social and digital display ads, and measuring the results of those campaigns to optimize their engagements on future deployments.


With the help of the Claritas AudienceAnywhere® platform and Claritas P$YCLE® Premier segmentation, built especially for financial marketers, Alltru Credit Union was able to determine the ideal audiences for their auto loan campaigns by, in part, uncovering the anonymous visitors to their website. Each month, their in-house marketing team worked on creatives, which Claritas delivered through Facebook and Google Display Ads. They were then able to monitor, manage and optimize their campaigns directly through AudienceAnywhere, along with receiving support from the Claritas team.

As a result of refined targeting through the channels that matter most to their members, Alltru Credit Union was able to see their auto loan landing page’s new visitor traffic increase 623% over the prior year. In addition, we helped them attribute over 100 conversions in three months to their campaigns, plus they hit above their loan goal every month since working with us. Additional success metrics they’ve achieved by working with Claritas include, but aren’t limited to over two million digital impressions, six months of consistently exceeding their loan goals, and an average CTR of 0.57%, compared to industry benchmarks of 0.10%-0.14%. Moving forward, they will continue to run monthly auto loan campaigns, and are leveraging Claritas solutions to analyze their website traffic after their rebrand.
